Sipadan Island Park

Sipadan is Malaysia’s sole oceanic island, rising 600 meters (2,000 ft) from the seabed, formed by living corals atop a volcanic cone. Situated in the Celebes Sea just off the east coast of Malaysian Borneo, close to Indonesia and the Philippines, it stands as the center of one of the world’s richest marine habitats. This ecosystem hosts over 400 fish species and hundreds of coral varieties. Recognized by numerous dive journals, Sipadan is acclaimed as one of the premier dive destinations globally.
